
Licence Replacement
Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Driver Licence

If your driver’s license has been lost, stolen, or destroyed, you may apply for a replacement at our office. You will need to undergo a thorough identity verification process, which requires at least two valid forms of identification.
The fee for a replacement license is $28.00. You will be issued an interim license, valid for 30 days, while your new card will be mailed to you within two to three weeks. If your license was stolen, we advise contacting the police to obtain a police report. Any report number provided will be recorded on your replacement application.
Remote Application – Temporarily outside of Alberta / Medically Homebound
If you require a new driver’s licence while temporarily outside of Alberta, you can apply for a new licence by completing the Remote Driver’s Licence / ID Card Application . Please email the completed application along with any supporting documents to info@registryexpressinc.ca.
Your application will be reviewed within 1-2 business days. Please ensure you record a valid email address and phone number on your application form. Additional documents might be required for some cases.
Note: You must have last held an Alberta driver’s licence and will need to provide Proof of identity and Alberta residency with your application. This application is only applicable to Alberta resident ONLY.
